|How does an Aussie girl survive travelling from the height of summer in Sydney to the dead
of winter in London, whilst still sticking to a single suitcase well within airport luggage
limits / Airbnb staircase-lugging abilities?Enter the blanket coat, my friends. That seriously oversized,
all-enveloping cover-up you can cocoon any basic outfit in and look like you were most definitely prepared
for how cold your destination would be. Yep, didn’t underestimate it at all.*
My pick of the moment? This woolly Raey number, in all it’s unstructured, drop-shouldered glory.
Ideal in its encasing abilities, it is neat and neutral giving it versatility as well as general lightness
in the sea of black we all inevitably dive into come winter. It also comes in a cool dusty pink hue
for a lighter take again, which I am strangely into as well. Go figure. Be sure to check out more edgy
basics from Raey via MATCHESFASHION.COM, and shop the remainder of my outfit below.
*I definitely almost always underestimate just how cold I will be in any given winter outside of Australia. Every time.
