The wide-leg pant is no doubt a solid wardrobe staple for many of us, and rightly so.
Sleek, flattering and endlessly versatile, they can be tossed on without a second thought
and cement a look for a myriad of occasions. So, when Farfetch asked me to style a piece
of my choice three different ways, I wanted to double-time it and show you three ways
I’ve been wearing a great wide-leg pant with my favourite footwear of the moment: the
humble sneaker. Add these two together and you have a seriously solid foundation for
effortlessly cool, off-duty dressing.
With the weather still not quite knowing what it’s doing at present, transitional wear
is still the name of the game, so I am all about light long sleeves and casually-draped
jackets. My love of unique sleeve silhouettes has also been evident of late, with flared
cuts, asymmetric shoulders and super-long French cuffs all on high rotation. Paired with
a classic leather biker jacket or camel coat, it’s all about adding a little hint of sophisticated
edge to that basic foundation of the wide-leg pant and sneakers, creating a sleek off-duty
look that is all your own.
Be sure to give it a go this weekend.
