NEW SEASON STATEMENTS.

Whether you’re heading into fall or (in my case) welcoming spring with open, suitably more exposed
arms, this tricky change in season can leave even the most dedicated fashion consumer stumped for
what to add to the old wardrobe next.

Cue the statement coat, in all its enveloping, eye-catching glory.

Why is this your new trans-seasonal essential? It basically takes whatever you already own, however
basic, and elevates it to cutting-edge style heights you can only dream of with your standard black
overcoat (I say this with undying love for the black overcoat of course, never shall it die).

My favourite of the moment? This houndstooth beauty by JOSEPH. Pared back accordingly with a
simple black tee, classic straight-leg jean and sneakers, suddenly transitional dressing just got a
whole lot more interesting with minimal effort required.
