A change of season always pushes me to experiment with my standard style, and right now I am all
about a fresh take on accessories.
Moving away from solely black bags and shoes and into a chic new world of muted tones is the name
of the game, with beautifully soft tans, khakis, creams, burgundies and even pastels (if you are more
daring than I..) working to really freshen and elevate an otherwise all black or monochromatic wardrobe.
I've paired these Gray Matters pumps and MM6 Maison Margiela tote accordingly with some standard
and purposefully old (sorry they don't exist anymore) black and white pieces to really bring home the
point, as the real test of a new accessory purchase is whether it can bring new life to those time-honoured
staples and help take them seamlessly into the new season.
So shop smart, get into this new take on accessories and lighten up that trans-seasonal wardrobe with
a bold, anything-but-black attitude. Like me, you might be surprised at just how much you love it.
