It’s not everyday a new label emerges that perfectly encapsulates your personal style
philosophy. Clean lines, quality fabrics, soft tailoring, a muted colour palette – all
things I value in a clothing line, and precisely what BC the Label is all about.
An acronym for “Basic Collection”, BC is the diffusion line from Australian
label Bless’ed Are The Meek, whose edgy, sexy aesthetic is well-established
across the globe. The idea behind the new line is to create sets of luxe basics that
will fit seamlessly into the modern wardrobe – loose shirts, tailored pants,
boxy tees and clean shift dresses are all par for the course in each collection,
working perfectly oversized silhouettes in largely monochromatic shades. In short,
it’s the type of label you always wish existed but until now had failed
To celebrate its launch, the wonderful team at BC are giving three lucky people the
chance to win a $500 wardrobe made up of pieces from their Spring 2014
collection. I will be posting five looks I styled with pieces from the collection on
my Instagram through to the 12th September 2014, and all you have to do to enter is
re-post one (or all!) of the images, tag @kaity_modern and @bc_thelabel and
hashtag #win500bc to be in the running. Head over to my Instagram here
to check it out for yourself.
Be sure to get involved, there are some seriously amazing pieces up for grabs.
