So it has been ri-diculously windy in good old sub-tropical but-refusing-to-act-like-it Brisbane this week, which I felt called for a little experimental Spring dressing. Result? A sheer maxi skirt and striped tee combo. Sheer maxis I feel are a million times more flattering on me than their opaque counterparts, mainly as they allow for a bit more of an interesting and leggy silhouette. At almost 5’10” I always feel a little imposing with over a metre of solid material hanging below my waist, so this is a nice compromise. The rust factor is also a big plus: not quite tan, not quite orange, it’s the perfect all-rounder in terms of colour. Paired with red nails, it’s a sure winner.

Have a mighty cool giveaway coming up later this week for my fellow Aussies out there so stay tuned. Exciting times ahead.

  2. whoaaa I love love your top. And how you paired it with the orange shear skirt! Brilliant. I wish I could pull off the leggy silhouette, but I am so short. And I agree, rust + red nails = killer.

im a little more than obsessed with your personal style. following now.
